I love creating and printing with waterbased ink. I think it's the "green" feature that so many people are looking for. Enjoy your website.

As a chicago native, I've seen Pelle Pelle remain and continue to grow as a major player/mainstay in the Urban Wear Community. Their signature leathers and sweaters have been coveted for more than a decade as an Urban Status symbol only to be worn by the "hoods" elite.

I am totally shocked and appalled at the behavior of the people in this show. They are rude, disrespectful, and totally disgusting. Richard seems to be the most uneducated idiot I have ever come across, the way he speaks to the locals in the factories in India is appalling and he should be utterly ashamed. He is discourteous, ill mannered & un-civil. And when a local in the restaurant tries to talk to him he swears at him and gets worse, what a terrible, terrible person.
The only person who seems to appreciate the experience is Lara.

I hope Richard learns his lesson from taking part in this show and gets rid of his rude, primitive & crude attitude.

Amrita should also know better, her attitude towards India and the industry out there is shameful, and as an Anglo Indian myself I am totally shocked at the way she disregards the well fair of the Indian workers and looks down her nose at them.

Overall, I think it is a great show - the producers did an excellent job. Just a shame they chose some terrible people who have no values to take part as the message seems totally lost on them.

People get most of their shirts from stores. Buying shirts and other products is one way of engaging the world of design. Deciding what styles you like, or what messages you want to share with other people, or what bands or companies you want to advertise on your chest, are all decisions about design and communication.

When you create your own shirt graphics, you decide exactly what you want to say and how you want to say it. You could make more than one shirt and sell them to other people, or you could give them away or trade them for other stuff you want. You could post your design on the Internet so that people could download it for free and use it themselves.

One day, you will walk down the street and see someone you don’t know wearing your shirt. You will have reached your public in a new way.

Do-it-yourself is everywhere. Around the world, people are making things themselves in order to save money, to customize goods to suit their exact needs and interests, and to feel less dependent on the corporations that manufacture and distribute most of the products and media we consume. On top of these practical and political motivations is the pleasure that comes from developing an idea, making it physically real, and sharing it with other people.
