ABOUT LOADED’S CHARITY AUCTION!
As Umbro unveiled their razor-sharp new England kit, style-experts waffled on about how the simple white shirt carried ‘traditional values of classic tailoring’. Loaded just saw a blank canvas on which to wreak merry havoc. And so we asked England’s hottest, coolest and newest designers to make their mark. Within days, these cats had ripped, sewed, applied graffiti and in one case fired a twelve-bore shotgun at fabric, to bring you these works of football art. Even better, the whole lot is up for grabs. If you fancy one of these nifty designs, get your wallet out and bid because all the cash is going to The PSP Association, for people with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. ABOUT CHATEAU ROUX SHIRT!
Soho-based Chateau Roux are best known for their beautifully soft, bespoke, hand printed garments – oh, and their eccentric imagination. Who else uses fabrics such as bamboo to create their tees, or a shotgun? The Chateau Roux ‘England on Safari’ shirt was inspired by next year’s World Cup in South Africa. The design incorporates the iconic Three Lions using the triangles and bold shapes for which Chateau Roux are renowned, then the shirt was finished off using their not-patent-pending Shot Blast Air System, which is created by opening up a 12-bore shotgun onto it…They’re geniuses. Dangerous, dangerous geniuses.
